Kilmore Scope table quiz

A most enjoyable evening was had at the Kilmore Scope fun table quiz on Thursday the 21st in the AOH hall Bridgetown. A nice turnout enjoyed the quiz and with the winning team gaining a 95% success rate and the lowest team an 80% rate then you can visualize a set of questions that had the attendance in very good form. The winning team came from Kilmore Active Retirement with Des and Agnes Behan, Anne Lawless and Brendan Hamilton representing that organisation.

A raffle was held at half time along with tea coffee and 'tit bits'. Sponsors of prizes and the quiz were thanked and these included School and Office Supplies, Glebe Nurseries (Michael and Eileen Paget), Kehoe Marine (Kilmore Quay), Anne Miskella, Anne McMorris, Michael Shannon, Margaret Murphy and Murphy's Daybreak.

Question master was Séamus O'Keeffe and scrutineers were Noel Howlin and Sinéad O'Brien. All donors of prizes, those that helped on the night and those that supported the quiz or gave donations were sincerely thanked for their generosity. The call afterwards was for another such event in the New Year which we will be happy to oblige with, such was how those present reacted to the event and enjoyed the night's events.
