Rosslare Tidy Towns
This is the time of the year when we look for help. We are now asking all business owners and all owners of private properties to take a few minutes to look at the exterior of their properties. This is the Mind Your Own Patch model and generally works very well, it does take people to make it work.
It is mostly about weed control and litter control also proper management of bins where appropriate at retail outlets. Of course your help is not confined to this, we do need your on going help and enthusiasm as well as financial help for planting, painting, maintenance etc.
At the recent Spring Clean up day we were delighted that over 30 adults plus many younger people turned up and worked in a very dedicated way while also making it a fun day. We now say a very sincere Thanks to All, who turned up and helped to kick start the season. We also Thank Wexford County Council, who supplied two very helpful operatives who worked the beach buggy to great effect.
We have very willing volunteers but we do need more who are prepared to don the yellow jackets and help Rosslare to further success and to becoming a Silver Medal einner. Please join the effort to Keep Rosslare Beautiful.
