LEINSTER JUNIOR AND MASTERS INDOORS - The Leinster Junior, Masters and Senior Indoors took place in the National Indoor Arena in Abbotstown on Saturday. Thanks to our own chairman Paddy Morgan for the great photos. Kilmore AC had four athletes taking part during the day.

Jackie Carthy was back running Indoors and was the clear favourite to win the O45 1500m category. Jackie, who has won multiple European medals Indoors got herself into a good position early on and looked comfortable. She made a big surge in the last couple of laps to move up with the top two, who were competing in the O35 category and battled hard all the way to the line to claim another Leinster title, finishing third overall but winning her category in a time of 5: 01. Next up for Jackie is the National Masters Championships next Sunday in Athlone where she will run the 3000m.

Cian Bates was back on the runway for the Junior Men's Long Jump. Cian, who has already won the Leinster under-19 Indoors and came fourth in the National Junior Championships this season. He has been suffering with an ankle injury since his Leinster under-19 win. Cian had yet another strong performance yesterday finishing fifth with a best leap of 5.78m. The National Juveniles now come into Cian's focus and they will take place at the end of the month.

Sam Molyneux was in action in the Junior Men's 200m. Sam got out off the blocks well and looked really strong. He just missed out on fourth in his heat on the line by three hundredths of a second, finishing in a time of 25: 13 for fifth in his heat. He was unable to run the 400m due to an ankle injury. Rory Cassidy rounded out the action in the Junior Men's 3000m. Rory was determined to put in another PB performance, following a PB in the 1500m in Athlone last month. That's exactly what he did. He was delighted to run a PB, running 11: 03, 45 seconds quicker than nine months ago outdoors and finished seventh. Great results from the Kilmore crew.

Ladies' Football

After the recent club AGM and EGM, we still have a significant numbers of officer positions to be filled. The club cannot operate successfully while these positions remain vacant. It puts undue pressure on the people who have volunteered to take officer roles and threatens the viability and future of the club.

The club is pleading with former players, parents and supporters to become more involved with the running of the club. If you are interested in taking a position, or know of someone who is, please contact Nicola at 087 0680511 or Tommy 086 8151402.
