Clonard - Thrift Fund to cease: Due to new banking regulations we have had to review how the Thrift Fund works and unfortunately, after exploring all avenues it is with regret that we have to cease operation. Pay-out this year will take place on Tuesday, December 4, from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Shamrock Room of the community centre.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the volunteers who have dedicated their time on a Friday night for so many years and to all of the people who have saved with us over the years, your support has been greatly appreciated. Clonard Thrift Fund Committee.

Clonard Parish Memorial Tree: The tree of remembrance is now in place in the Sanctuary. The tree will remain in the Sanctuary for the month of November and we ask you to leave the memory cards on the tree for the month.

Service of Remembrance: Wexford General Hospital: Is holding their service of remembrance at Clonard Church, Wexford on Friday, November 16, at 7.30 p.m. - this is an annual event. The service of remembrance is particularly intended for families and friends of those who died at Wexford General Hospital over the past year. However, the service is also open to anyone who wishes to attend.

Thank you to the audiences who supported our one-act comedies in St Michael's Hall recently, we were delighted with the turn out and we hope you all enjoyed. Well done to everyone involved and a special mention must go to the new recruits to our group who did a wonderful job and hopefully we'll see them star on the stage with Ballycogley in the future. Thanks to St Vincent de Paul and the staff at St Michael's for their assistance over the four nights.

TRAINING - Senior training continues at Kilmore GAA Grounds Wednesday at 6.30 p.m. All adult members welcome as well as experienced runners.
Juvenile Training: We train in Kilmore GAA Grounds on Monday and Thursday evenings at 6.30 p.m. We also train on the burrow in Kilmore Quay (Sofrimar End) on Sundays at 10 a.m. S & C with Fiona on Wednesday in Kilmore GAA Centre at 6.30 p.m. for juvenile members. CROSS COUNTRY - All roads lead to Adamstown on Sunday next for day two of the Leinster Cross Country Championships. The races are for uneven ages and seniors. The very best of luck to all Kilmore athletes in action, we're sure you'll fly.

Kilmore ARA bowls teams had mixed luck this week in the county league as Kilmore Gulls went down to Ferns in Ferns by 12 points to seven. Team was Frances Moore, Tom Dunne, Anne Lawless and Agnes Behan, On Wednesday the Kilmore Seals had a good win over Oulart by 17 points to six in the Stella Maris Centre. Team was Margaret Howlin, Joe Barry, Séamus Byrne and Noel Howlin. Bowls practice as usual; on Tuesday evenings in the Stella Maris Centre at 7 p.m.
For those wishing to attend our Christmas lunch on Wednesday the 28th in the Talbot Hotel, please book as soon as possible with your choice of turkey and ham or Salmon. This very popular social occasion is open to non-members and will 'kick' off at 1 p.m. with dinner and will be followed by music and social events.
Plans for Bridgetown
The proposed plans for the Bridgetown village renewal project as presented to an open meeting recently in Bridgetown Vocational College are now available for viewing in the Information Centre, AOH Hall, Bridgetown, Monday to Wednesday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Most suitable times are afternoons due to classes being held in the forenoons. Please drop in to have a look, you are most welcome.

The December dance and last one for 2018 will be held on Friday, December 7, with music by the ever popular Liam Mannering. Camross Drama Group
Congratulations to the cast, director and crew of 'Lucy in the Sky' by Tony Layton, which won first place in the Confined Section of Palmerstown One Act Festival Saturday, November 3. This is a great acheivement in itself - however, it also gives Camross a vital 12 points towards qualifying for the all-Ireland Finals which take place in Kilmuckridge in December. Mary Brown received Best Female Actor Award for her role as 'Wendy' and the play won the Adjudicator's Award for Best Overall Play both Open and Confined - a great night for the group.
With three more festival to go - Cork Arts Theatre, Carrigallen in Leitrim and Rossmore in West Cork, all is to play for in gaining points for the all-Ireland.
