A coffee morning hosted by Cllr Lisa McDonald in aid of the Lochlann Doyle Fund will be held on next Thursday, July 25, at St Martin's GAA centre at 11 a.m. Please support this very worthy cause.
Forth Celtic AFC is giving notice that their lotto will cease with the final draw been held on Monday, July 22. The committee would like to thank everyone for their support with the lotto over the years.
Rosslare Tidy Towns
Thanks to all our regular volunteers for their great efforts on behalf of the village, Thanks also to the many seasonal volunteers whose help we really need and very much appreciate.
Thanks to the many people who supported our recent church gate collection, total collected was €706. Also we received a few promises of contributions which hopefully will materialise. Like all money raised by Tidy Towns this will be ploughed back into the village/community.
Adjudication for the Tidy Towns National Competition finishes on August 4, another two weeks to go, Please help in keeping our streets litter free, bags, gloves, and pickers readily available from any of our volunteers.

Summer is up and running here at Rosslare Community Centre and our events programme is already in full swing.
Summer camp (4-12 years) runs from 9.30 p.m. to 1 p.m. Monday to Friday. Register from 9.15 on the day. Every day is filled with fun activities, playground time, beach trips and much more. five-a-side soccer (kindly sponsored by Coast Rosslare Strand) kicks off every afternoon at 4 p.m. (6-9 years) and 5 p.m. (10-14 years). This year we welcome Parks Tennis to the centre, with classes running throughout the month of July from 9.30 p.m. to 1 p.m. For more information contact Austin at 086 0789517 (4 p.m. to 6 p.m.)
If you're not the sporty type, don't worry - there's plenty for you to choose from. From July 3, our hugely popular family bingo evenings take place every Wednesday at Coast Rosslare - doors open at 7.30 p.m., with eyes down at 8 p.m. Come early.
Shine Bright Theatre return with a super silly puppet show every Tuesday evening at 7.30.

Our annual field day will take place on Sunday, July 28. A highlight in our events calendar, this year promises to deliver on fun, food and entertainment. In response to your requests, we will be featuring the GAA Hurling semi-final on the big screen, so no need to miss out.

Youth club is now on holiday till September. A training date for leaders is on June 25 and will take place in Rosslare. Please contact Rosslare Youth Club via their Facebook page for more information.
Rosslare Active Retirement
Our coffee mornings continue each Tuesday at 10.30 a.m. in Coast Hotel. A big crowd attended last Tuesday which was great, it's always good to keep in touch over the summer so we're hoping it will continue along those lines. If there's anything to be related there's always some committee members there too. There are no meetings for July and August so it's good to keep in touch and have a chat. Non-members are welcome to join us and hopefully potential new members.
Our outing to the Dublin Bay Cruise is planned for Tuesday, August 13, when we will travel by train to and from Dublin and hopefully have a nice relaxing lunch in Howth at the end of the cruise. For information regarding cruise, ring 086 1917190.
Doyle's, Orchard Park are opening their garden to the public every Sunday. All are invited; proceeds will be divided between Tagoat Parish Church and Tagoat Day Care centre.
St Mary's GAA
The lotto was not won at €6,400. The numbers were 14, 16, 21 and 22 on July 16. No match winners/lucky-dip winners James Carthy, Conor Roche, Natalie Kinsella, Jim Murphy and Chelsea Fitzpatrick. Next draw is July 23 in the clubhouse at 8 p.m. and is €6,550. We are looking for more people to help sell tickets. From next week the seller of a winning jackpot ticket will win €500 and there will be a monthly voucher seller draw for €50. Tickets are €2 and can be bought off all managers, players, committee members and places around the parish.
We are selling Guess the score of the all-Ireland semi-final between Wexford and Tipperary on July 28. Tickets can be bought from any underage or adult players or committee members. Tickets are only €2 so have a go and win €200.
Our under-20 Team is with Kilmore and the Hurling championship will be in July. Manager is Conor Roche; 087 2027202.
Our Nursery takes place at the club house at 10 a.m. every Sat for four to six-year-old boys and girls. Our last day will be July 27.
Under-sevens boys. Well done to our under-sevens on Monday evening, last July 15. Great hurling skills were on display against St Martin's. Well done to all boys from both teams that took part.
Under-13s boys had a great win against our local neighbours Kilmore in their football championship on a score line of 5: 14 to 2: 04 on Tuesday night. Football match next Tuesday, July 23 vs St Mary's Maudlintown in Tagoat at 7.30 p.m.
Under-15s boys under-15s Rising stars football this Sunday morning vs Shamrocks in Fr Murphy's Park in Enniscorthy.
Under-17s Minors training on Tuesdays at 7.30 p.m.
Under-11 were outstanding in Carne against Faythe Harriers on the Sunday, July 14. They are improving with every week. Well done to all.

The shop is open on home match days and is stocked with socks, nick, tops, hurls etc. in the colours of the club. So come a long and wear the club colours.

St Mary's camogie club
Our under-10s were in action against St Martin's in the championship in Tagoat. We came away with a fantastic and decisive win. There was some really excellent skills on view with some exquisite scores. This was the team's third match of the championship and we kept up our 100% success rate.
Our annual church gate collection will be next weekend (July 27/28). All support greatly appreciated.
Cois Barry Community House
We are currently preparing for the Pride of Place awards 2019 competition. All our staff and volunteers are working hard to showcase our community and estates to the rest of our magnificent country. IPB Pride of Place 2019, the prestigious Pride of Place Competition, the original community recognition awards runs for the 17th consecutive year. The organisations behind this competition are Co-operation Ireland, its local authority partners, in this case Wexford County Council, and the headline sponsor IPB Insurance.
