Rathangan-Cleariestown: Community lotto - There was no jackpot winner this week. There was one match-three winners. The winning numbers were 5, 7, 13 and 32. The winner was Audrey Devereux.
The next lotto draw will be held on Tuesday, December 3, and the jackpot now stands at €5,600.

The annual St Vincent de Paul Christmas appeal takes place in all of the churches of the diocese of Ferns on the weekend of December 7/8. For some Christmas is 'most worrying time of the year.' Gratitude is expressed for your consistent generosity down the years. Your support has saved some from a lifetime of poverty.
Christmas Tree Lights
The Christmas Tree Lights will be switched on in Duncormick on Saturday, December 7, at 8 p.m. There will be carols, music and light refreshments and Santa will drop by for a visit.
Breast Cancer Fundraiser
A fundraiser in aid of Breast Cancer will be held in Tír na nÓg, Wellingtonbridge, on Friday, December 6, at 8 p.m. A great night of music and dance with 'Hot Asphalt and DJ Julie' - Christmas Dress Encouraged Raffle and Spot prizes. NO ENTRY FEE - DONATIONS ON ENTRY - All proceeds Irish Cancer Society.
The Little Sea Musical Society invites you to come join them to open this year's Christmas Season with Mary Poppins Returns with Willy Wonka and Christmas Classics. An event for all the family with our Christmas Treats at the Interval.

Housing Association AGM
The annual general meeting of Rathangan Senior Citizens Housing Association Ltd will take place in Rathangan Hall at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 6. annual Report and accounts will be presented along with information on work and plans at the McCaul Community Centre (old house). All and everyone welcome.
We extend sympathy to Louis Bennett Bellary, Duncormick on the death of his father Nick Bennett Cullenstown recently. May he rest in peace.
Southeast Country Music Festival
Southeast country music festival tickets are now on sale from the following outlets Murphy's Daybreak, Mace Kilmore quay, Billy Doyle's footwear Wexford and Enniscorthy, Rathangan hall, Fr Kevin Cahill Rathangan, Odlums shop Baldwinstown and southeast festival committee members, Special early bird price €20 for the month of December. The tickets would be an ideal Christmas present and o supporting our local parishes.
The Big Switch On and Village Christmas will take place in the Memorial Park in Rosslare Harbour on Friday, December 13, starting at 6.30 p.m.
The Christmas Lights will be switched on simultaneously in Kilrane and Rosslare Hbr at 7pm sharp. Christmas Trees will be lit at Maritime Centre in Kilrane and St Patricks Church Rosslare Harbour, and The Memorial Park, with lots of other illimuniated decorations too. Then Santa will arrive with his Elves to The Secret Garden, which will be magically lit and beautifully decorated. There will be Carols sung around the Christmas tree in the Park, a Ceremony of Rememberance with the local Lifeboat Crew,. Santa tickets €3 per child can be purchased from The KRH Elves in the Foyer of Hotel Rosslare and tickets will be numbered to avoid the queues.
Our annual raffle and Christmas Card sale fundraiser will take place on Friday, December 13, at Murphy's SuperValu from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Environment Group's Christmas Cards are presently available from various outlets including SuperValu, Circle K Garage, Teresa's Shop, Maguire's Hardware, Vera Fox or a committee member.
Reminder: A WEEE (Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment) cage only for small Household electrical goods and a container for the recycling of fluorescent tubes is situated at the back of the Railway Social Club. It is open on Saturday Mornings between 10.00 and 11.30 a.m., weather permitting.
St Aidan's Cemetery
Please be advised that the annual pre-Christmas clean of up of St Aidan's Cemetery, Kilrane will take place on Friday, December 6, at 1.30 p.m. This is a great opportunity for relatives and friends to join with the rest of the community in preparing the cemetery for its many visitors over the festive season. Don't forget to bring along your gardening gear and any appropriate tools required to get the job done. Looking forward to seeing you there.
President Mary Kirwan welcomed members to the November meeting of Kilrane ICA Arrangements were made for our outing to Swan Lake at the Opera House on November 29. Mary O'Byrne and her team are making good progress with our cooking book 'From Our Table to Yours'. This will be launched at the Christmas Fair on Sunday, November 24.
Names were taken for our Christmas lunch in Kelly's Hotel on December 4. We are having a Mass for our deceased members on November 23. Membership fees are due in Dec. Names were taken for the Federation dinner in February in Whites Hotel. Competition for the nicest pair of slippers was won by Veronica Dolan. All the slippers will be donated to the Women's Refuge. Evening ended with a lovely tea and social time.
The club will kick off their Christmas celebrations with their annual party on Friday, December 6, at the community centre. Then it's off to Ballykelly on Friday the 13th for a festive disco to wrap up the 2109 celebrations. A trip to Dundrum is planned for January - see out Facebook page for full details.
Our weekly coffee mornings continue each Tuesday at 10.30 a.m. in Coast Hotel. A good day was had by all who travelled to Dáil Éireann and the Epic Centre last Wednesday, the day finished off with a lovely meal in the Ashdown Park Hotel on our return journey.
Our next meeting will be held on December 10 at our coffee morning, we hope to see a good turnout of all members.
We will have complimentary mince pies on December 17 which will be our last coffee morning before Christmas.
The AGM will be held on January 14 when a new committee will be elected and membership will be renewed for 2020.
A holiday is planned to Westport on April 20 for five nights. The cost will be €395 which will include the coach to and from Rosslare, five nights B&B, four evening meals, daily outings by coach and nightly entertainment in the Castlecourt Hotel. St Mary's GAA
Our Nursery for four to six years olds is at 10 a.m. every Saturday and runs till December 14. It is good fun with lots of games. All are welcome and it is free. Tickets for the 12 days of Christmas are on sale throughout the parish from players, managers, selectors and committee members. You have 12 draws to win from. Tickets are €20 or three for €50. This draw is for the development of the pitches in Tagoat; your support is very welcome.
We are holding a re-union ball on December 29 ay 7.30 p.m. in Ferrycarrig hotel. Tickets will go on sale the end of November.
