Rosslare Harbour: Environmental Group Notes - As the Tidy Towns Adjudicators will be in the area shortly, the group would encourage everyone to make an effort to keep their area clean and tidy. Now is the time to paint that wall and to tidy up the garden. Please don't forget the bit outside of your property that we just couldn't get to. Every little help is appreciated.

The group meets up every Wednesday evening at 18.30 and on Saturday mornings at 9.30 in the Memorial Park if you wish to assist us in our endeavours. The group would like to take this opportunity to thank the Men's Shed for the recent donation of a five in one multi garden tool.

A WEEE (Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment) cage only for small Household electrical goods such as toasters, kettles, electric drills and a container for the recycling of fluorescent tubes is situated at the back of the Railway Social Club. It is open on Saturday Mornings between 10.00 and 11.30 a.m., weather permitting.

Rosslare Harbour-Kilrane Environmental Group's activities can be monitored on their Facebook page 'Rosslare Harbour-Kilrane Environment Group'

St Mary's camogie

Our under-12s travelled to Abbottstown in Dublin for Caman to Leinster. A total of 23 players made the trip which was one of the biggest panels there. The girls had a great time and did their club, themselves and their families proud. We played three matches winning two and losing out in the last one against a club from Kilkenny. We defeated teams from Kildare and Dublin. The facilities are really excellent in Abbottstown and it was a great experience. Well done to the coaches: Aoife, Mirelle and Richie. Thanks to all the sponsors and to the parents who travelled.

Well done to Ruby Lambert, who represented us at the Féile Skills competition recently.

Congratulations to Caroline and Andrew Furlong on the birth of their daughter Caoimhe - a new member for the club.

Our under-eights continue to compete and have played in two blitzes so far which were in Kilmore and Tagoat. We would like to thank Claire and Martha for their refereeing skill last Wednesday and also thank Kilmore, St Anne's, Crossabeg-Ballymurn and St Martin's for visiting us. The girls from all clubs have put in some excellent performances, but most importantly have had great fun. They are showing that we will have future stars in the club. Well done to everyone.

We are always open to new members at all age groups, check out the Facebook page for the contact at each level.
