Irish Girl Guides (IGG) are holding an open evening for girls and parents on Wednesday, May 29 from 17.30-19.00 in St Iberius primary school. IGG offers an exciting programme for girls in a safe and supportive environment. This year the Wexford Campus will host a Creative Computing Summer Camp involving Programming, Web Design and Hardware for Transition Year students on June 5 and 6. Cost is €20 and includes lunch.
Oyster Lane Theatre Group is holding auditions next month for its production of 'Grease'. 'The Pathways to Clean Cooking 2050: Leaving No-one Behind' conference takes place in the National Opera House and Carricklawn, County Hall on Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31. Exploring the impact of solid fuels on the environment, the conference will feature discussions on creating modern, clean, sustainable bio energy in a low-income country context among others in a two-day series of events. A fundraiser showcasing fabulous fashion in aid of Relay for Life Wexford takes place at the Wexford County Council premises at Carricklawn on Friday, June 7 at 7 p.m. Relay for Life is a massive community event that brings people from all over Co Wexford together in the fight against cancer. It celebrates those who are surviving cancer, remembers those we've lost and raises awareness, while at the same time raising vital funds for the Irish Cancer Society. Tickets €10.
Confident people who have previous choral or dance performance experience are sought to take part in a project entitled 'Moving under Skies' which will culminate in a performance on Culture Night in September.
