CAN and Wexford Swimming Pool are running a splash class for children between the ages of 3-4 on the Autism Spectrum. Parents/Carers will join their kids in the water for some water based activities along with some educational but fun water safety tips. The instructor will take part in games to build your child's confidence. Simple games like blowing bubbles, ring a rosie, and jumping in will be taught alongside floating and kicking exercises to show you how to give your child the best possible start to swimming. Please book your ticket through eventbrite and then pay the €6 class fee on arrival at the swimming pool.
On Friday June 14 in Sinnott's Bar, Distillery Road, George Murphy & The Rising Sons perform. The group is made up of 14 musicians, singers and instrumentalists. The music is a mix of Irish folk and ballads with cojones. Admission €10.
Children aged 1-5 are invited to Wexford Arts Centre for some pre-school musicianship with Aileen Donohoe and Peter McCamley every Wednesday throughout June starting tomorrow.
Including singing, movement, drums, bongos, chimes, castanets, maracas, claves, bells, glockenspiel, boom-whackers, piano and guitar these classess provide a fun and interactive curriculum taught by trained professional with many years' experience in early musical education.

The Habla Spanish Institute in Channing House, Upper Rowe St is hosting a Spanish Movie Night on Friday June 14 at 7.30 p.m. The movie being shown is 'Campeones' a comedy inspired by a team created with people with intellectual disabilities which won twelve Spanish championships between 1999 and 2014. It will be shown in Spanish with English subtitles. This is a free event.
