BALLYMORE/ MAYGLASS

GAA LOTTO

The St. Fintan's GAA lotto now stands at €6,300 and tickets can be purchased from local shops and from club members at a cost of €1.50. There is also a match three prize of €300 up for grabs each week. Due to the recent spell of bad weather last week's draw was cancelled.

SPONSORED WALK

This is a chance to win a beautiful hamper and support Mayglass church restoration fund for just €2. Sponsorship cards will be located in all local businesses and we appeal to your generosity.

Parish Council Fundraising Draw: The draw will now take place on the 19th of December.

CAROL SERVICE

The Ballymore/Mayglass choir intend holding a carol service on Monday 20th in Mayglass church at 7.30pm. There is no charge, but donations towards church restoration would be gratefully received.

CAKE SALE AND RAFFLE

A cake sale and raffle will be held in Mayglass church on Saturday 19th December before and after 7.30pm mass. Donations of confectionary would be greatly appreciated. A raffle will be held after mass.All funds raised in aid of the church restoration fund.

CHRISTMAS PARTY

The postponed seniors christmas party has been rearranged and will now take place in the Danby Lodge Killinick on Sunday December 19th at 5.30pm. Tickets for the christmas raffle are currently on sale.

BOXING

Many thanks to all that supported the fundraising night of boxing in the Danby Lodge over last weekend. The proceeds from the night was shared between the GAA clubs of Our Lady's Island and St Fintans. A great night of fun was had by all and this was made possible by your support and the boxing clubs of St Ibars, Sacre Coeur, Tramore and Clonmel.

Well done to all the boxers of St. Fintan's and Our Lady's Island who were prepared by the St Ibars boxing club. Naill Murphy won the best boxer award and the overall sheild was shared thanks to the kind gesture by Our Lady's Island club.

The St. Fintan's GAA club would like to thank you all for your support during the year and to wish you all a very Happy Christmas.

LADIES GAA AGM

St Fintans Ladies Football club will hold their AGM on Wednesday 15th December (tonight) in the club house Ballymore at 7.30pm, anyone interested in taking over teams or being part of the management at any level are very welcome to attend on the night, hope to see all members there
