The jackpot in the St Fintans GAA lotto now stands at €3,600 and tickets are available from local shops and from club members at a cost of €1.50.There is also a match three prize of €300 up for grabs each week. Last weeks numbers were 7,21,23,24.

A reminder that a texas holdem poker session will be held in the Danby Lodge Killinick on Friday May 6th with registration taking place from 8pm-8.30pm.

The proceeds from this fundraiser are in aid of the Tracie Lawlor trust for Cystic Fibrosis and tickets costing €30 are available from Brendan Wright on 086 7775929.

Three members of the parish Sandra Goldsmith, Denise Underwood and Brendan will take part in the Alcatraz classic swim, San francisco as part of the fundraiser.

This is an ideal opportunity to support the trust, test your skills at the game of poker and perhaps claim the €1,000 plus first prize on offer. Let's do our part to support this worthy cause and enjoy a fun night of poker.

This collection of phones will benifit the Jack n' Jill foundation and also the school. The school will recieve a much needed laptop for its efforts. Why not do something for the Jack n' Jill foundation,Mayglass school and the enviorment.


Keep Friday May 13th free for a fashion show with a twist, it will be held in the Danby Lodge Hotel with the proceeds going to the Mayglass church restoration fund. Models and clothing will be required for this fun event so all you wannabe "models" watch this space as it may be your chance to shine.

An exhibition of Art and Craft will be open to the public in Killinick village this week from Thursday 21st to Monday 25th April. Paintings, photography, wood craft and lots of Easter goodies will be on display.

Well done to the under-14 team who beat Davidstown at home game with score line of 7-7 to 8-2. Also the Intermediate Ladies had a win over Horeswood Saturday evening with score line of 2-14 to 9points. Well done girls.
