Senior Citizens Party Friday 23rd November; Concert in aid of Ballymurn Hall 7th/8th December. Vintage & Cultural Sunday in Ballymurn on 14th October.

LADIES FOOTBALL

We are going ahead with our 'Go Kart Marathon' to help raise funds for Childrens Hospital Crumlin and both the Ladies football Club and Coiste na Nog.

It is a Pedal Go Kart marathon over 24 hours, we will be asking all Players/Parents/Supporters to take a sponsorship card and help us in this fundraiser.

The event is happening from Friday 28th September to Saturday 29th September, with all proceeds will be divided equally between the 3 associations at the local GAA grounds in Crossabeg.

BALLYMURN CELTIC A.F.C.

Ballymurn Celtic would like to wish the selectors and the hurling club and supporters the best of luck in the county final on Saturday.

Super South East Draw: Its that time of year again when the soccer club needs your support. Members of the club will call to the your house selling the Super South East draw tickets. The tickets this year are half the price and still have got the same great prizes. We hope to enjoy your continued support thanks.

Training is on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm and Friday evenings at 7.30pm at Crossabeg/Ballymurn Community field. All new member would be greatly welcomed.

VINTAGE NEWS

The Over the Water Vintage Club will hold their next road run on Sunday 14th October. Starting point is Ballymurn village at 1pm. Vintage & Cultural Sunday will run in conjunction with the Road Run.

There will also be a Field Day including children's under 9 and 11 Soccer blitz, bread making, butter making, spinning, barbeque ,bottle stall. milking, bowling, horseshoes and lots more. Donations of bottles appreciated and can be left at the local shop.

CABARET

There is a Cabaret on Saturday 13th October in the Anvil. Vintage dress optional, to be judged on the night. In aid of Church funds. Music by Shay & Paddy.

TRADITIONAL IRISH NIGHT

There will be an Traditional Irish Night in the Anvil on Friday 28th September. All welcome.

GAA NOTES

There was no winner of last week's lotto Jackpot and two match three winners, Mary Quinn and Eileen Coughlan. The numbers were 1, 4, 24, and 27. This week's jackpot is €7,600.

Best of luck to the Junior hurlers who play The Rapperees in the County Final on Saturday (29th) at 4.30pm in Wexford Park. Please come along and give them your support.

The underage section of the club are running a 24 hour go-kart marathon in Crossabeg pitch this weekend 28th/29th September. Half the proceeds will go to Our Lady's Childrens hospital in Crumlin, with the balance divided between the under age section of the club and the lady footballers.
