BANNOW/ BALLYMITTY

COUNTY FLEADH CHEOIL

Bannow C.C.E. is delighted to be hosting the County Wexford Fleadh Cheoil this year on Sunday May 16. This will be the first time since 1994 that the Fleadh will be held in the South of the county. Anyone wishing to donate or contribute sponsorship to the branch towards the running of this event can do so by contacting any committee member or by dropping into Bannow P.O. All sponsorship will be acknowledged in the Fleadh programme. Together let us make this a great day in our community.

MUSIC GROUP HOODIES

Danescastle Music Group Hoodies are now available in various sizes from 5 years up to adult. If you wish to purchase one please contact Margaret or Aine at music on Friday evenings. Next order will be placed shortly.

COFFEE/TEA EVENING

A coffee/tea evening in aid of the Irish Cancer Society will be held in Carrig Community Centre after the Penitential service on Friday Mary 26 from 7.309.30 p.m. all are welcome. Don't forget Friday March 26 is Daffodil Day.

FASHION SHOW

Ballymitty Parents Council are holding a fashion show in the Stanville Hotel, on Friday March 26 at 8.30 p.m. Fashions are from Pierce Men's Wear Wexford and Wallace's Wellingtonbridge, admission is ¤5 and there are door prizes and also raffle prizes, tickets will be on sale from committee members, Ballymitty Supply Stores, Wallace's Wellingtonbridge, and the Stanville Hotel.

DEATH

Deepest sympathy to the relatives and friends of Margaret Neville, Danescastle, who passed away last Wednesday in Cherrygrove Nursing Home, Horeswood. Margaret was 81 years of age and is survived by her brothers Patrick and Vincent, her remains were brought to Carrig Church on Thursday evening and she was buried in the family plot in Kilcaven Cemetery, may she rest in peace.
