Ann Crosbie, Chairperson welcomed all members to the first meeting after the summer holidays. A vote of sympathy was passed with Fr. Jim Kehoe, The Waters Family and the Galvin Family Cullenstown on their recent bereavements. Rene Grace, secretary looked after all correspondence on the night, while Alison Linner gave a very interesting talk on all aspects of foot care. Remedial massage and custom made ortholics after which scones and tea were served.
The raffle winners were: Mary Flynn, Alison Linner and Mairead French. Arrangements were made for the guild to attend the Federation meeting in Cavan on Monday September 26. Two new members were welcomed on the night and the next meeting will be on Monday October 17. GAA NOTES
Congratulations to the U-16 boys on winning two County semi Finals in the past week, they beat Bunclody in the football last Monday night September 19 with a late goal in injury time and on Sunday September 25 they beat Ramsgrange by 9 points in what was a hard fought replay.
