MONSTER BINGO

There will be a Monster Bingo in Ballymitty on Sunday October 30 at 2 p.m. with a B.B.Q. and teas served also. All proceeds on the day will go towards replacing the hedging at our graveyards, which has been destroyed over the past two harsh winters. Should anyone wish to make a donation of any kind be it a raffle prize or some money you can do so by contacting any parish council member or Fr. Cahill, your support would be very much appreciated. A night of comedy will take place in Carrig Community Centre on Wednesday November 2 when Camross Drama Group will perform 2 one act comedies, come and laugh the night away, refreshments served and valuable raffle prizes, admission just €5. PRESENTATION

Following the recent Fun Weekend in aid of Windmill Therapeutic Centre & St. Anthony's Unit, the organising committee will hand over the cheques on Saturday night October 22 in Stafford's, Tullicanna, music and light refreshments will be served. COMMUNITY ALERT

The Club will hold their annual table quiz in Tir na nOg, Wellingtonbridge on Friday October 28 at 8.30 p.m., table of four €40, junior tables of four €20, lots of prizes and raffle on the night, refreshments also served, please support the girls, donation for tables or raffle very welcome. Corach Ramblers presents 3 once act comedy plays in Carrig Community Centre on Sunday November 6 at 8 p.m. Come along and have a good laugh and see some of our local talent perform, back by popular demand. Mixed results for our junior teams over the past few weeks so best of luck to all teams this eek in their fixtures. Good to see the junior ladies league underway and also all the underage girls and boys who are having great fun playing their matches. As the 60 X 30 County Championships have just finished, Ballymitty Handball Club can look back on a very successful year winning seven county titles to add to Shane Rossiter's Leinster and Al Ireland Success. We would like to see more members volunteering to help with the work that is ongoing at the moment to improve our facilities at the Ball Alley; work starts each evening at 7 p.m. SHOE BOXES

Don't forget to collect your shoeboxes and prepare them for early November. A lot to children look forward to getting these boxes every Christmas. Full boxes can be left at Bannow P.O. or given to Mai Sweetman. GRANTSTOWN DAY CARE

Due to demand Grantstown day Care Centre will be open on Wednesdays in the near Future.

Table Quiz: Fundraising table quiz in aid of Grantstown day Care Centre will take place on Friday November 4 in the Scaville Lodge, Duncormick, table of four is €40, refreshments served and music after quiz by Tony Jeffers, raffle also on the night.
