BREE UNITED DINNER DANCE
A Dinner Dance to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Bree United will be held this Friday April 20th in the Riverbank House Hotel. Tickets are €20 each. For further details or tickets contact Catherine Jordan on 086 8587937.
The County Community Games Swimming Finals take place this Sunday, 22ndapril in New Ross starting at 10am.
The annual Vintage/tractor run will take place on 27th May. The run will begin at the Community Centre, Galbally and details of the route will follow later. Please reserve the date, all support will be greatly appreciated.
BREE HERITAGE PROJECT
Last week's Bree Heritage Project site visits had to be cancelled but the group will visit a number of archaeology sites this Sunday 22nd April, meeting in Bree Community Centre carpark at 11am and all are welcome to attend. BREE YOUTH CLUB
There is no club night on Friday 20th April as the seniors are travelling to Taghmon for a disco. Those attending the disco should meet in Bree at 8.15pm. The bus will return to Bree at approximately 12.40am.
Athletic Training for Juniors (5-8 year olds) has resumed in the top field in Ballyhogue GAA grounds in Bree on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7pm to 8pm. Cost per session is €2 to a max of €5 per family. Bree AC members (U8 and upwards) continue to train on the lower field at present. New members are very welcome.
County Wexford Development Draw Tickets are now available. Contact Des Kehoe or any other committee member. 3 draw ticket for €50 or buy them separately; draw 1 €20; draw 2 €20; draw 3 €10. There are bonus draws for holders of the 3 draw ticket. Draws will take place in Wexford Park at 7pm on the last Wednesday of the month - 25th; 30th; 27th June.
Training has resumed for under age - U12 Nicky Dempsey, U14 Nicola Rochford, U16 Eileen Murphy and U18 Johnny Roche. Please contact relevant manager about training times etc.
TOWNS CUP WIN
Congratulations to a number of locals who featured prominently on the Enniscorthy Rugby Club team which won the provincial Towns Cups last weekend. Richard Dunne, Ciaran Murphy and Hughie O'neill were all on the team while John Bracken was on the bench.
