MACRA TABLE QUIZ

Bree Macra will hold a Table Quiz in Ryan's Lounge, Galbally this Friday 22nd June at 9.30pm. Team of 4 €20. All support greatly appreciated.

Mass to mark the First Anniversary of the death of Fr. Aidan Kavanagh P.P. Bree will be celebrated on this Saturday evening, June 23rd at 7pm. in Bree Church. All are most welcome.

BREE UNITED

Bree United Soccer Club are holding a barbeque and presentation evening at Macmine pitch on Friday June 29th. Everybody welcome.Mini 5 a side games etc on the night so come along and join in the fun.

Well done to the youths who won the league title, to the U16 boys (runners-up), U14 boys A (runners-up) and U14 boys B who won the title. Bree United AGM will be held on Monday July 9th in meeting room in Bree Hall at 8pm.

COMMUNITY PLAYSCHOOL

'SEISIUN' RETURNS TO BREE

The 'Comhaltas Seisiún' Sessions, in association with Celtic Roots, return to Bree Community Centre on 10th July and continue weekly on Tuesday nights at 8.30pm for the months of July and August.

Each Session begins with the serving of scones and tea / coffee followed by a full programme of Music, Song, Dance and Storytelling. Cost is €10 for adults with concessions for large groups and children. For bookings and further details contact 087-7535354.

PATRON AND FIELD DAY

Galbally Patron and Field Day takes place on Sunday next, 24th June commencing with prayers in the graveyard.

BREE FAIR DAY

The Annual Bree Fair Day will be held on Sunday 5th August. Once again it will feature the usual stalls along with children's Fancy Dress Comp, Go Karts, Best Dressed Pet, Best Produce, Art and Photographic Competitions, Children's Baking Competitions and Best Container/window box.

Talent Competitions (U13 & U18) and Skittles Tournament (U16 & Senior) will be the main features on the day. The Householders draw will also be held in association with Bree Fair Day.

Entries for the Leinster Championships in Tullamore on the 30th June / 1st July are due to Una or Clare this Wednesday. Training continues every Monday & Wednesday evening at 7pm.
