Hard luck to the U14 footballers who lost to Sarsfields in the county semi final last week. They played with a strong wind in the first half, but trailed 0-8 to 0-2 at half time. However in the second half they gallantly fought back to within a point and were unlucky with a couple of chances. With scores hard to take against the strong wind the Sarsfields held on to win 0-12 to 1-5.

Crossabeg/Ballymurn had Patrick Cullen, Darragh Cummins, Paddy Devereux, Kevin Boylan, Thomas Doyle, Dean Nurney, Nicholas Murphy, Eoin O'Connor, Robert Byrne, Oisin Foley, Sam Kelly, Conor Maddock, Aaron Lambert, Jason Banville and Noel Scallan playing and the subs introduced were Luke Lacey for N. Scallan, Ronan Devereux for L. Lacey, Danny Milbourne, Shane Conroy, D O'Connor and Aaron Ryan. Well done to the players and their mentors; John Cummins, Brian Foley, Aidan Banville, Nick Byrne and Mick Cullen for their hard work during the year.
