The run will set out from Screen village at 12.30 p.m. Club members are equipped with sponsorship cards and would appreciate your support for this worthy cause. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The local Community Games organisation will hold their annual general meeting in Castlebridge community centre on Monday, October 3 at 8.30 p.m. Please note change of date. Parents are asked to go along and give the committee their support. Refreshments will be served after the meeting. COME DINE WITH ME

Crossabeg/ Ballymurn Community Centre committee is organising 'Come Dine With Me 2011-2012'. It will usually take place on the last weekend of each month from October to February (excluding December). However if another weekend suits all parties better then this is ok too.

A group for 8 persons is organised for each household, with the host rotating each month. One person/couple invites the other 6 people to join their group and this group stays together for the duration of the event. Each guest pays only €10 per person per night and for that you get a meal and perhaps a few drinks.

The choice of menu is up to each host and we would suggest keeping it reasonably simple. It can be anything from a few drinks to a take-away to home cooking. The main idea is to arrange a good night out with friends for a very low cost.

To find out more or book a place please contact Rita or Anna-Mai on 0871263926 or 0872731889. The funds raised are in aid of Crossabeg/Ballymurn Community Centre. When the event is over every host who participates will be entered into a draw for a weekend away. ATHLETICS
