CROSSABEG

QUALIFIED AS VET

Congratulations to Ciara, elder daughter of Frances and John Morris, Ballyharron, Crossabeg, who was conferred with her BSc in Veterinary Medicine from UCD on Monday of last week. Her qualifications now allows her to add M.R.C.V.S to her name. Ciara is now looking for a vacancy and will concentrate on large and small animals.

PATRON

The annual Patron to Crossabeg cemetery takes place this coming Saturday, June 30 with Mass in the cemetery at 7 p.m. During the Mass the graves will also be blessed. If you wish to have your deceased family members and friends prayed for, please leave names in at the parochial house.

90TH BIRTHDAY GIRL

Crossabeg community centre committee would like to wish a very happy birthday to one of their loyal Whist players, Breda Nolan from Enniscorthy who is 90 years young and still keeping fit and healthy.

STORY TELLING

Story Telling sessions at Kyle Forge continue with the next session on Sunday, July 1 at 8.p.m. Refreshments are also served. Story telling also on Sunday, July 15 at 8 p.m.

CLEAN UP

The annual clean up day at Crossabeg Soccer club takes place on Saturday next, June 30 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. All club members and supporters are asked to lend a hand to get the premises spruced up again before the summer sports camp which will take place on July 2. Volunteers are asked to bring along paint brushes, strimmers, sprayers, weed killer etc.
