Daly 'Birds' return to Pumphouse
IMAGES OF Birds, an exhibition by Wexford artist David Daly will open at the Pumphouse in Wexford Wildfowl Reserve on Saturday, October 22 at 4 p.m.
The official opening will b e performed by the former TD Mary White.
This will be the 15th year that Daly has exhibited at the Pumphouse venue.
'I'm delighted to be back at the Pumphouse. The proximity of the venue to Wexford Wildfowl Reserve crates a vital link between my work and the natural environment,' he said.
The exhibition featuring watercolours and oils will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from October 22 to October 31.
Daly first began exhibiting his work in 1988, and has mounted nearly two dozen showings of his work since then.
His paintings were shown at the Natural Eye Exhibition in London last year.
He has illustrated several books, including The Complete Garden Bird Book, Bill Oddie's Birds of Britain and Wild Dublin.
