At one point, it was like a throwback to the 1970s at Kent Stainless in Ardcavan as a total of 11 employees got behind a major 'Movember' fundraiser, which ended up in some of them sporting moustaches that Magnum PI would be proud of.

There were two facets to the groups fundraiser, money was raised online via the Movember website for men's health charities and the workers also opted to do a cash collection with the money going to Pieta House.

'The group of us put our heads together and that was the charity we decided to pick,' explained Sean Kent, one of the participants. 'It was a bit of fun and it got a lot of interest. We were getting some funny looks by the end of it!'

The gang were delighted to present a cheque for €1,150 to Sinead Kehoe from Pieta House last week and she thanked them for all their fundraising efforts.
