While they may no longer be living in the model county, the passion for Wexford GAA has by no means waned among members of the Dublin Branch Wexford Supporters Club. The club recently held its annual golf classic at Castlewarden Golf Club and saw a great attendance teeing off on the day.

Organised by Mosey Morrissey, the day was said to have been a huge success with a large contingent taking part and offering their support for Wexford GAA. This is just one of a series of occasions which is organised by model county exiles in the capital for the good of GAA teams right across county Wexford.

Under the leadership of Chairman Matty White from Bannow, the Dublin branch continues to give an opportunity for wearers of the purple and gold to contribute towards the growth of the games in their home county, while also enjoying the social aspect of events such as the Championship Launch Night.

New members are always welcome to join and people are encouraged to follow the branch on social media for details of upcoming events. The organisers of the golf classic wished to thank those who have supported all events and committee members for their time.
