Festival Book Fair
A LARGE selection of booklets and pamphlets on Wexford's history and topography including many out-of-print items will feature in this year's Festival Book Fair.
The fair will run daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at No 5 Common Quay Street (just off the Bullring) from October 20 to November 6.
Boro Books, the original founders of the Wexford Opera Book Fair are returning to host this popular event and look forward to meeting many old friends.
There will be a wide range of books on offer with a fine selection of Irish history and literature, topography, poetry, sporting books, art books, first editions, country interest books, signed editions, and many out of print books.
There will also be much to interest the serious collection with a nice copy of an 1804 edition of Ledwich's Antiquities on offer along with a copy of Arthur Champney's Irish Ecclesiastical Architecture and also George Petrie's Ecclesiastical Architecture of Ireland and the origins and uses of the Round Towers of Ireland. Admission is free.
