GLYNN/ BARNTOWN

BARNTOWN YOUTH CLUB Registration for new club year takes place this Friday 17th September from 8 pm - 10 pm in Barntown Community Centre. Membership fee is €10 per family and a parent MUST attend with child for registration. Membership is strictly for secondary school students from Barntown parish or those who have attended Barntown primary school. Looking forward to seeing everyone and welcoming new members on the night.

Disco: The F.D.Y.S. launch Disco will take place on Friday 01st October. A list of all those who wish to attend disco will be taken on Friday night at the registration.

GYMNASTICS

Gymstars Gymnastic Club, Community Centre, Barntown will re-open for classes this week. There are a variety of classes to suit boys and girls from age 5 upwards. Anyone who has not yet enroled please ring Joanne on 053 9128027.

Welcome back to the Louise and Ian and the Youth Choir after their summer break.

CONDOLENCES

Sympathy is extended to Kathleen Doyle, Ballyhine, Barntown, on the death of her brothor Paddy Goodison last week and condolences are also extended to Paddy's family circle. Paddy was buried in Barntown Cemetery on Thursday last. May he rest in peace.

Sympathy is expressed also to the family John Shiel, Barntown, who died on Thursday morning last and was buried on Saturday morning. May he rest in peace.

Congratulations and very well done the Wexford Senior Ladies Camogie Team on their tremendous All Ireland win in Croke Park on Sunday last against the Galway Girls. Three cheers for the Slaneyside team.
