PENNY BANK

Just a reminder that the Penny Bank has now resumed for 2011 in Barntown at the usual time after 7 pm mass on Saturdays.

The good news is that it has now been extended so you can also save after 11 am mass on Sundays.

Last year the Penny Bank was a huge success and enabled people to make provision for Christmas.

Membership is open to all ages and we look forward to your support again during 2011. New members are also very welcome. Gratitude extended to all for their help.

BARNTOWN N.S.

Enrolment 2011: Parents/ guardians wishing to enrol children in the school for September 2011 are invited to contact the school regarding enrolment forms. (053) 9120376. The forms must be returned on or before Monday 31st January.

Recycling: Congratulations to Daragh Brown from Ms. Ann Stamp's 2nd class. Daragh made a Christmas Decoration from recyclable materials in the Wexford County Council Christmas Decoration Recycling Initiative in December last year and was one of the lucky prize winners for his hard work and effort.

The competition was open to the whole of County Wexford, so well done Daragh for taking a prize back to Barntown.

Class of the week: This week the "class of the week" title went to Mrs. O'Rourke's 3rd class. Well done children (and Mrs. O'Rourke)!
