Well done to our U14 ladies football team who recently travelled to Gorey and came away with a 5-2 to 1-5 win. The U.12s came up against a very strong Sarsfields team but the girls played well under pressure and were unlucky not to score more. Under 12 & 14 training for ladies football is on Monday evenings at 7pm with U10s on Tuesday evening at 7pm at the Hurling Wall. All girls are welcome to come along and try out football.

The U12 Green team had a great win last week against Oulart the Ballagh on home ground. The girls showed great skill and determination. Sophia Conolly, Ellen Murphy and Emma Sweeney were the scorers. Unfortunately the U.12 Blue team were defeated by Taghmon/Camross on a 4-3 to 1 goal scoreline with Keevy Walsh scoring the goal for Glynn Barntown.

The intermediate footballers took on St. James in the third round of the championship and it proved to be a cracker. Robbie Dempsey was in great form and he helped us to secure a draw in a thrilling game that went down to the last kick with our opponents grabbing the equaliser right at the death.
