JOURNAL NO. 39
The 39th edition of the Kilmore Parish Journal is now on general release in the Parish and environs. As people probably know at this stage the official launch had to be cancelled due to the adverse weather and road conditions of last Wednesday night.
However the committee decided that the Journal should go on sale immediately and not to reschedule the launch, such was the interest in the new publication.
Once again the Journal is a huge publication, being just four pages short of last years record edition. We hope that the community will enjoy the contents every bit as much as in previous years and as always we would welcome constructive comments from our readers.
Our thanks to everybody who contributed in any way towards the content of the 39th edition be they photos, articles or the support of our advertisers for which we are most grateful. Thank you one and all.
SENIORS PARTY POSTPONED
The annual Kilmore senior citizens Christmas party which was postponed from last Sunday 12th December has been re scheduled for Sunday 19th December, again weather conditions permitting at Hotel Saltees.
Kilmore Quay ICA, who are the organisers of the event, apologise for the inconvenience but hope that everybody understands that they have no control over what the "elements" can throw at them or when.
