LOCAL LOTTOS

The Kilmore United Lotto was not won on Monday June 13th. Numbers were 6,10,17,26. One match 3 winner Patricia Lambert. The jackpot was €9,900 last Monday night in Quigley's Lounge.

The All Blacks lotto was not won on Monday June 13th. Numbers were 4,7,15,29. There were 3 match 3 winners John Butler, William Doyle,and Margaret Mc Cabe. The jackpot was €9,900 last Monday in the Clubrooms.

The Community Lotto was not won on Tuesday June 14th. Numbers were 9,12,23,and 24. There were 5 match 3 winners Sharon Kehoe,Niamh Furlong,Graham Mernagh,Jim Kielthy,and Anne Shannon. The Jackpot was €8,600 last Tuesday night in GAA Clubrooms.

RETIREMENT

Congratulations to the popular Kilmore Quay man Peter Moran, Ballyteigue Kilmor Quay who had a double celebration last weekend, Peter who celebrated his 65th Birthday and also retired from work. A special party was held in Hotel Saltees last Saturday night where all of Peters family and friends had a great night.We wish Peter many happy years of retirement.

50TH BIRTHDAY

Congratulations to Stephen Lawlor Tomhaggard who celebrated his 50th birthday last week end with a party in the Hideout attended by family and friends.

40TH BIRTHDAY

Congratulations to Jean Devereux The Hill who celebrated her 40th birthday with a surprise party at The Silver Fox and afterwards at Quigleys where family and friends attended.

DEATH

The death of John Cogley Whitehill Kilmore took place last Friday after a short illness. John was a very popular and well known man and was very well respected and a great neighbour. John's death came as a big shock to all and sincere sympathy goes out to his wife Ann, daughters Betty, Doreen, Jacqueline, Mary Fran and Paula, family and friends on their great loss.John was buried on Sunday in Kilmore Cemetery where a crowd so big has not been seen for a long time such was the popularity of the man.

KILMORE GAA CLUB

The intermediate footballers are out next weekend. On Saturday they will be playing against HWH Bunclody. Please check the paper's fixtures for details. Tickets will go on sale very soon for the Parish BBQ and Barn dance. Tickets have been priced at a very affordable €15, with the doors open from 8 till late on 23rd July.
