Forth Celtic will be celebrating their 40th Anniversary this coming June. Events are being organised for the Bank Holiday Weekend starting with a Golf Classic on Friday 1st June. Saturday will be a Family Fun Day with plenty of activities for all followed by the official opening of Pitches and Club House. More details to follow re Golf Classic and Fun Day Later

A Club Mass has been organised for Saturday Night for deceased members of the Club. The 40th Anniversary Dinner Dance will take place on Sunday Night 3rd June in the Talbot Hotel. If you wish for your child to attend Tots to Teens in September 2012 for the ECCE - you are advised to contact the centre ASAP to avoid being disappointed. Please note that are morning session is fully booked however we have limited availability on our afternoon session.

IMPORTANT ECCE MESSAGE: The DCYA has just informed that services will no longer be permitted to offer the 50 week option (September - August) of the ECCE Scheme from September 2012. If a parent whose child attends on a full time/ part time basis wishes to have the benefit of the capitation over 50 weeks, parents may make the necessary arrangement with us, however the preschool element of the service must be provided over the 38 weeks. (38 weeks {Sept - June})= 3 hours per days x 5 days x 38 weeks).

Those who only wish to attend 3 days per week - the capitation fee will be payable on a reduced pro ratio basis e.g €62.50/5x3 = € 37.50. For further details please contact the centre by phoning 053 91 64664 or emailing

Summer Camp: We are now taking names for our Summer Camps which run throughout the summer with the exception of the last two weeks in July.individual days each week can be booked or alternatively block days can be booked for any time during the summer period. Our camps are open to all children up to 13 years.


We had our end of year junior youth club outing to Leisure Max last Friday night and a great night was had by all. Looking forward to seeing you all back in September.

This Friday night is our last night of senior youth club and on supervision is Sylvia Duggan, Vincent Kennedy, Jenny Firman, Aisling Dempsey, Betty Ryan, Lily Rowe and Terry Dempsey. We would love to see you all there. Please remember our end of year trip to oakwood has to be fully paid up on this night and their will be more info closer to the date which is on the 27th July.

The youth club committee would like to thank all members, parents amd especially our leaders for all their help throughout the youth club year and hope you will all return in september. Also all our members doing their Juniorcert are wished the very best of luck. We hope you all have a very safe and happy summer and see you all in Oakwood.
