FORTH CELTIC LOTTO

Numbers for 17th September were 4,3,5,1,7,2,6. No winner. Next draw was on 24th September in Larkin's Bar. Jackpot is €3,300.

10K FUN RUN

Entries are invited on www.runireland.com (€15) for Murrintown N.S. 10k Fun Run/Walk which takes place on Sunday 30th September at 12 noon. Entries will also be accepted on the day (€20). Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Male and Female and also 1st Male and Female O35, O40, O45. Numerous spot prizez for finishers.

Registration and number collection at Murrintown Community Centre, Saturday 29th, 5pm - 7pm and on Sunday morning 9.30am - 11.30am. Refreshments following the race in Community Centre. All funds raised will go towards the school building fund.

'LADIES NIGHT OUT'

An exciting event 'A Ladies Night Out' will take place on Friday Oct 5th in the Riverbank House Hotel, Wexford. Proceedings will commence at 8pm with a champagne reception, followed by a 3 course meal. All funds raised will be donated to Murrintown N.S. building fund.

Ladies fashions for Autumn/Winter 2012 will be then be showcased by 2 exciting local boutigues, Charlies Company and Empress, both on Main St, followed by a entertaining musical recital by local choral group 'Chorus Matrimonious'. A hamper, kindly donated by Sam McCauleys chemists, will be raffled as a door prize.

CROAGH PATRICK CLIMB

A barefoot climb of Croagh Patrick will take place during the last weekend of September to raise funds for St. Catherine's Church, Murrintown. Volunteers will be calling door to door with sponsorship cards over the next few weeks so your support would be gratefully appreciated.

COMMUNITY CHILDCARE

Murrintown Community Childcare Centre is open Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 6pm daily, 49 weeks of the year. We cater for all children from Murrintown and surrounding areas from 4 months - 13 years. We provide childcare on a part time and full time basis as well as providing an after school club service.

YOUTH CLUB

Our Junior youth club will take place every two weeks for the year, so our next junior night will be held on Friday 5th October from 6.45 to 8.15. Registration is still open. Our senior youth club will be on next Friday night 28th September from 8.15 .to 10.15. On supervision on that night will be Jenny Firman,Aishling Dempsey, Caroline Kenny, Chris Culleton,Tina Young and Monica Corish.

We had a great night friday night with loads of enthuasiam and ideas coming from our members,looks like it could be a busy year. Registration is still open and all new members are very welcome.

DRESSMAKING CLASSES

Knitwits in Bridgetown are introducing Beginners Dressmaking classes in late October. They require 8 people to make up a class which will run for 7 weeks in the community hall in your area.
