The Coffee Morning held in Marty's Bar on 7th October was a resounding success. €1,500 was raised in aid of St. Mochua's Church Fund and more donations have been promised. The organisers extend a most sincere thank you to all who supported the effort in any way, all who baked cakes, donated raffle prizes, sold tickets and those who donated generous money gifts. Camogie Congratulations to Ursula Jacob and Mary and Una Leacy on being nominated for Camogie All-Stars. The winners will be announced at a banquet in The City West Hotel on 5th November. Tickets are available from the Camogie Association or may be ordered through one of the nominees. Also,well done to Ursula on being awarded "Sports woman of the month" from the Irish Sports Council. SCRAP COLLECTION

The skip, presently at John McGrath's yard, will be the last one to be filled and will be collected within the next few weeks. Anyone with scrap metals etc should bring them to the skip a.s.a.p. Since this effort began a couple of years ago more than €5,000 have been raised for the fund. Great credit is due to John McGrath who organised and supervised the collection and sale of the scrap. RETIREMENT FUNCTION

After Mass on Saturday 29th October the parishioners of Oulart are invited to the Community Centre for an informal get-together to mark the retirement of Fr. John Jordan who served for 14 years in the parish. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome. FASHION SHOW

Oulart-The Ballagh G.A.A. & Camogie have organised a Fashion Show to be held in White's Hotel, Wexford on Friday 18th November.

A great night is promised, beginning with a cheese and wine reception followed by a feast of fashion from some of the top retailers in Co. Wexford. Some of the stars of the Wexford Camogie teams will be modelling as well as some local male models.

The Fashion Houses showing garments include "A-Wear", "Vila", "Jack & Jones Menswear", "Sophia's Choice", and "Ruby Rouge". Tickets (10 euro) are available from club members and in local shops. ACTIVE RETIRED

The next outing of the Oulart Active retired will be a trip to the Grand Canal Theatre, Dublinfor the musical "White Christmas" on Saturday 10th December.

A bus will bring the group to the theatre and there will be a meal in The Arklow Bay Hotel on the return journey. Bookings for the show must now be made so therefore, a deposit of 35 euro must be paid to the committee immediately.

Bowls are played every Tuesday from 2pm-4pmwhile cards games are also available for those interested, at the same time, in a separate card room. Tea and biscuits are served at 4pmand all present enjoy a chat and a good laugh.

More people are encouraged to join the Active Retired and partake in the activities that suit them.

It costs a mere €15 to become a member. This covers insurance for all activities of the group. Four new members have joined this year. COLÁISTE AN ÁTHA
