Beginning from 8th November, Paistí Beaga Playschool will open two afternoons per week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2p.m. to 5p.m. Children who would like to attend must be pre-school age and toilet trained. For enrolments and enquiries please contact 087 2547049. YOUTH CLUB

Our Lady's Island Youth Club started back on Friday last with a good turnout. Lovely to see so many faces from last year and also some new ones. Anyone in secondary school from our parish or neighbouring parishes, Killinick, Tagoat, Rosslare Strand, Rosslare Harbour, Kilrane are welcome.

As always we are appealing for new leaders as our leaders are moving on with their own children. Anyone over 18 years who would like to work with our youth would be most welcome. You do not need to have children in the club to become a leader. If interested, please call down or contact Louise Morris 91-31308.

There is a Disco on Friday, 30th September. Need names before Thursday, 22nd September. We will also be organising a trip to the cinema later. Looking forward to another year of fun and games. ALTAR SERVERS/READERS

A reminder to all that new Rotas will be available for pick-up in the FÁS office in O.L.I. Community Centre throughout the week beginning 26th September. It is essential that these Rotas are collected. Thank you for your co-operation in this matter. COURTYARD CONCERT

The organising Committee of the recent Courtyard Concert would like to extend their appreciation to all who supported and attended the concert, and helped to make it such a great success. Sincere thanks to all who helped in any way, both leading up to the event, and on the night. The committee have received a lot of positive feedback since the concert concerning the organisation and your help contributed hugely to this. WELL DONE GER

Congratulations to Ger Maloney, Kisha on being the first man home with the Irish 0ver-50's Running Team when they won Silver competing in Italy during the week.
