Congratulations to Our Lady's Island Junior hurling team on a convincing quarter-final win over Taghmon/Camross in St. Patrick's Park on Saturday 17th Sept. - score 14pts to 1.7. There was some great individual performances throughout the team, and an overall great team performance.

Their management team of David Maloney, Ger Carthy and Eddie McDonald must now prepare them well, with the help of Gordon Ryan, for a semi-final battle with Horeswood. We wish the team and mentors the very best of luck in the semi-final on Saturday, 8th October in Killurin. Hard luck to our minor footballers who were narrowly beaten on 18th Sept. by Clongeen, in Clongeen. The lads fought very well but were unlucky in the end. I.C.A. GUILD
