Paistí Beagá Playschool will host a Cheerios Breakfast Morning in aid of Childline this Thursday, 18th October in the Community Centre at 10a.m. Please come along and support this worthy cause.
VISITATION OF THE SICK
Fr. Brendan Nolan will visit the sick and housebound of the parish this Friday morning after 10a.m. Mass.
BACK TO EDUCATION
Liz Duffy Co-ordinator of the Programme Back to Education Initiative will be attending our Community Centre on Wednesday week, 24th October to present two programmes that she has devised for our community. There was information evenings held over the past few weeks - thanks to everyone who have supported these evenings.
On Wednesday, 24th you will be able to express your interest in this programme and collect the information that you require. Also, I would like to add that this programme is available to a wide range of people so please take this opportunity to be a part of this free programme. Eligibility forms will be available on the night. Look forward to seeing you all once again on Wednesday, 24th October and sharing that cuppa.
Our Lady's Island G.A.A. lotto now stands at €3,300 and tickets may be purchased from local shops and from club members at a cost of €1.50. There is also a match 3 prize up for grabs each week. Last week's numbers were 2, 16, 20 and 25.
GAA GOLF CLASSIC
Sincere thanks to all golfers, sponsors of teams, tee-boxes and prizes, organisers and Larry Byrne and staff of St. Helen's Bay Golf Club for making Friday's Golf cCassic a huge success. We hope to see you all again for our 2013 golf classic.

Nearest the pin - men - Willie Murphy. Nearest the pin - women - Joan Walsh. Longest drive - Graham Whitty.
Youth club is going very well and lovely to see a lot of new faces. We had pizza night and they all enjoyed it. Parents must attend Induction Night for 1-2 hrs training. This will enable parents to help out in Youth Club. We will let parents know when we have the date.
Youth club is open to all in Secondary School in our parish and surrounding parishes. Friday nights from 7.45 to 9.30pm. We have some helpers from Transition Year, who are helping out as part of their Gaisce awards. We are also looking for more Leaders. Please contact: Louise Morris 087-2053305.
