The weekly winners of the partners 45 cards in Hotel Curracloe were Sean Allen and Denis Kelly. The Christmas final takes place tonight, Wednesday, December 22 at 9 p.m. sharp. Cards will resume in January. Thanks to all customers who supported throughout the year.

CURRACLOE SCHOOL NEWS
Grateful thanks to all who helped clear away the snow from the school area to allow the school re-open. Congratulations to Mark Doyle, James Doyle and Adam Murphy who won the County Council y Council recycled Christmas decoration competition in their category and well done to Grace Harding-Kenny, Nathan O'Rourke and Luke O'Rourke who were highly recommended.
Today, Wednesday, December 22, the junior classes Christmas disco will take place from 1-1.30 p.m. followed by a visit from Santa. The disco for the senior classe s will begin at 1.30 p.m. and continue until 3 p.m. Parents and Guardians are welcome to attend. The school closes for the holidays tomorrow, Thursday, December 23 at 12 noon and will re-open on January 10.
The Shelmalier Walking club will hold a special St. Stephens Day walk at Raven wood in Curracloe commencing at 11 a.m. This is a special walk for families and their pets (10km) and there is a suggested donation of €1 per killometre per adult which will go to the Cottage Autism Network/GOAL charities. All are most welcome.
PORTER HOUSE PARTY
Don't forget that a Christmas party will be held in the Porter House, Castlebridge, tonight, Wednesday, December 22. This promises to be a great night with lots of entertainment, spot prizes, crackers, homemade mince pies, mulled red wine and hot food also served.
DJ John Kenny will provide music to get you in the Christmas mood. Admission is free and all are welcome. Not a night to be missed and a great way to get you in the Christmas party mood. Cheers.

The numbers drawn were 3, 11, 13 & 23. Next weekend's jackpot stands at €11,500 and the draw will take place in the Roadhouse on Monday, December 27 at 7 p.m.

MASSES IN CASTLEBRIDGE
The following are the times of Masses in Castlebridge for Christmas. Mass will be offered up on Christmas Eve at 9 p.m. and Masses on Christmas Day will be offered up at 8 a.m. and again at 10.30 a.m. Mass on Stephens Day will be at 8 a.m. and 10. 30 a.m.
There was a total of €1,657 taken up at Castlebridge church recently for the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Grateful thanks to all who subscribed so generously in these recessionary times.
Shelmalier GAA club wish to thank most sincerely all from the parish and beyond who supported their annual Lotto on a weekly basis which greatly assists the development of the complex at Hollymount.
