OYLEGATE YOUTH CLUB

Members of oylegate youth club will travel to a disco in Taghmon on this Friday evening October 28th and the supervisors for the evening are Johnny Reck, Liz Kinsella, Anna Mai Conroy, Margaret Storey and Con Hourihan.

UNDER 18 QUIZ

Congratulations to the under 18 quiz team who came second in the county final last week. The team was Sinead Stamp, Niamh Black, Paula Lambert and Bridget Mernagh.

Club members are busy preparing for the county soccer competition that will be held on Sunday November 6 in the Astro Turf centre in Enniscorthy.

INTELLECTUALLY DISABLED

Friends of the Severely Intellectually Disabled Annual Church Gate Collection would like to thank most sincerely everyone who contributed to their Church Gate Collection in Glenbrien. A total of €208.20.

KIDS HALLOWEEN DISCO

The disco will take place on Friday the October 28 at 7.30pm in the school. The disco is open to all children and their parents/guardians who attend the school.

RESTORATION GROUP

Demonstration Night in aid of the Old School Restoration will take place on FridayDecember 2 at 8pm in the new school. Tickets on sale €5.

STORYTELLING SESSION

The next story telling night will take place on this Wednesday October 26.

COFFEE MORNINGS

A coffee morning in aid of the Cats and dog home will be held on Thursday October 27th in Mernagh's Lounge Oylegate at 11.00am. All support would be greatly appreciated.

Glenbrien parish draw for the month of October will be held on Sunday October 30 following mass.

Ladies Football AGM: The Crossabeg/ Ballymurn Ladies football AGM will be held on Sunday 20th November at 2pm in Oilgate GAA Dressing rooms, all are very welcome.

Oylegate/Glenbrien Ladies Football: Oylegate Glenbrien ladies gaelic football club are training every Monday in Oylegate Parish Hall from 6.30pm to 7.30pm for 7 to 12 year olds. €2 a night and new girls are welcome. For more information contact Jonathan 0877583773.

OYLEGATE PARISH HALL

For all Bookings of Oylegate Parish Hall (for meetings, classes, functions etc.) please contact the Parish Office on (086) 8259842. Due to the increasing costs of running the Hall (electricity, heat, water rates and insurance) a small fee will have to be charged for use of the hall in order to cover these costs.
