Pony Club champs perform at RDS
Sixteen young horse riders from the Killinick Pony Club took part in the Dublin Horse Show, performing their award-winning musical ride display for the appreciative crowd.
The team consists of local riders aged from seven up to 15, and the honour of performing at the horse show is awarded, each year, to the national champions. This is the third time the local club has won the competition, which is a strongly contested discipline. The group had spent months training and perfecting their dazzling routine which thrilled crowds and judges alike.
The group consists of Emily Roche, Lauren Reck, Eva Mulligan, Sadhbh D'Arcy, Megan Murray, Lily Mai Berry, Isabelle Barry, Faye Murphy, Edie Codd, Geoffrey Barry, Ava Murphy, Kate Jordan, Jessie Bates, Sophie Whitehead, Isaac Barry and Keira Crowthers.
The group had won the National Pony Club Championship, which was held in Barnadown, Wexford. The club extended their appreciation to all who had contributed to the team's tremendous success.
