Teresa Scallan, Rathangan, died suddenly in hospital on 6th January. Her removal was in on Friday 7th January, followed by Mass and burial on Saturday 8th January. She is survied by her loving 5 daughters, 5 sons, 20 grandchildren and 1 great -grandchild, extended family and friends.
COISTE NA NOG AGM
The St. Annes Coiste na nOg Underage AGM will take place on Fri 21st January at 8pm in the Clubhouse. New Members are welcome and the committee are always keen for Parents/Guardians to also become involved in the Underage teams
GAA CLUB REUNION
St. Anne's GAA Club are holding their reunion in the Talbot Hotel on Saturday 26th February at 7pm. Music will be provided by Freeway and there will be a DJ till late. Cost €30.

The Church Gate Collection in aid of the County Wexford Community Workshop Enniscorthy collected a total of €287.17. Thank you for your support.

VARIETY SHOW THANKS
A special word of thanks goes to each and everyone who supported our recent Christmas Variety Show which took place eventually in Rathangan Hall on Thursday 16th December following hazardous weather conditions. Sincere gratitude to all our local businesses who supported us through advertising/sponsorship. A very entertaining night was had by all.
To date approximately €3,000 has been raised towards parish and school funds. Well done to all our talented participants who were involved it was a credit to you all

ATHLETIC CLUB AGM
St. Anne's Athletic Club will hold their AGM in Rathangan Hall on Wednesday 26th January at 7pm. All are welcome to attend.
Upcoming Events - the Leinster Indoor Championships Track Event - Juvenile Relays U13, U15, U17, U19 Boys and Girls will take place in Nenagh on Sunday 30th January. Track and Field Events (1500m Heats, 60m Hurdles, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Putt) U12 – U19 Boys and Girls will take place on Saturday 12th February. These events will be discussed at training on Friday 21st January.

The AGM for St. Anne's GAA club was held in the club rooms on Friday with an extremely good turn out. The club would like to extend thanks to all those who attended.

The Bannow/Rathangan Vintage Ploughing that took place in Rathangan on Sunday January 2 was a great success. A total of €6,971 was raised on the day and the cheque was presented to Margaret McDonald of Wexford Hospice Homecare in Sinnott's Pub, Duncormick that night. The committee would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported them on the day.
A Cabaret in aid of Ballymitty Handball Club will be held in Tir na nOg, Wellingtonbridge this Saturday night January 22 at 9.30 p.m.
This is a great opportunity for past players of the club and other clubs who often battled it out in the alley to meet up again and take a trip down handballs memory lane. Music by the brilliant country boys followed by DJ Brian O'Brien, refreshments and door prizes, admission only €5, your support would be very much appreciated.
