COMMUNITY LOTTO

There was no winner of last week's jackpot of €17,400.The numbers drawn were 2,10,20,21 Congratulations to the 10 match 3 winners who each receive €30. They were Anne Winters, Derek Carrol, Kitty Doyle, Liam & Aoife Crowley, Olivia Barry, Rachel Walsh, Jimmy Furlong, Diarmud O'Keefe, Leanna Moore and Pat Gillies. This week's jackpot stands at €17,700. The next draw will take place on Tuesday 26th June. Good Luck to all.

MONSTER BBQ

A Monster barbeque in aid of Rathangan Parish takes place on Saturday, 14th July in Killag Showfield Food served until 11 p.m. Bar Extension. Music & DJ 8 till late. Tickets €15. Tickets available from Parish Committee members and Tickets are also available from Rathangan Hall from 9.30am to 1pm Tuesday to Friday.

TIDY TOWNS

Duncormick Area Action Group has once again entered this years Tidy Town's Competition. 2011 was the 1st year entering and achieved very good results. Judging for this years competition begins June 1st and runs until August 31st. We hope to improve on last years results. We appeal to everyone to make sure and help us in obtaining better results this year and be proud of our village

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to Rathangan School Hurling Team on winning the Rackard League on Tuesday evening last beating Oylgate in Bellfield Enniscorthy on a Scoreline of 4-9 to 1-6. ST ANNE'S LADIES GAA

The Ladies GAA club would like to thank everyone who baked for and supported our recent cake sale.

CLEARIESTOWN PATRON

The annual Patron and Field-Day will be held on Sunday, 1st July, commencing with Mass at 1.30pm, followed by the field-day immediately afterwards with Tea & Refreshments. Raffle tickets circulated. Donations please for Bottle and Produce Stall. Volunteers needed and appreciated. Thank you for your support. Events include Bottle Stall, Pongo, Football Shoot, Cake Raffle, Bouncy Castle, Wheel a Fortune, Book Stall, Produce Stall and much much more

CHURCH GATE COLLECTION

There will be a Church Gate Collection in aid of St Vincent DePaul the weekend of June 30th & 1st July after masses

SHOW DATE

The 63rd Annual Bannow Rathangan Agricultural Show will take place at Killag on Thursday 12th July. COACH INN GOLF SOCIETY

Here are the results from Captain, Ed Cookmans on 23rd June at West Waterford GC. The winner was Richie O'Keefe, 2nd was John Murphy and 3rdwas Rich Howlin. The Sunday competition was sponsored by Newline Oil at Gold Coast GC. Winner was Shay Masterson. 2nd was Willie Murphy and 3rd was Martin O'Keefe. Next outing is on Wednesday 4th July at Newross GC at 4.30pm. Presidents Price will be held on weekend of 1st and 2nd September at Faithlegg GC.

GOLDEN JUBILEE

Fr. Sean Cullen will be home in his native parish in July of this year and we are arranging a little celebration for him, as this is the year of his Golden Jubilee of his ordination. On Friday 27th July mass will be celebrated in Ballymitty Church at 7.30 p.m., and there will be refreshments afterwards in Ballymitty Hall and everyone is most welcome so please come along and join Fr. Sean on this very special occasion.
