COMMUNITY LOTTO

There was no winner of last week's jackpot of €5,700. The numbers drawn were 2,7,8,17. Congratulations to the 10 match 3 winners who each received €30. The winners were Eileen Roche, Eamonn Sinnott, Mary Cullen, Sean Kenny, Robert Moore, Anthony Stafford, Leo Power, Elaine O'Rourke, Triona Kinsella, B&A O'Connor. This week's jackpot stands at €6,000. The next draw will take place on Tuesday 25th September 2012. Good Luck to all.

PARENT/TODDLER GROUP

The Parent & Toddler Group has started back in Rathangan Hall and is on every Wednesday at 10.30am. New members always welcome. €2.50 per family

BOXERCISE CLASSES

Boxercise Classes with John Philips in Rathangan Hall are held every Wednesday morning from 10am-11am. Get fit, strengthen, tone up while having fun! All fitness levels welcome.

FITNESS CLASSES

Fitness Classes with Patrick Dobbs are returning to Rathangan Hall on Monday and Friday mornings from 10am-11am. Bring a Mat/Towel and some water. Any enquires to Patrick at 087-7585604. All fitness levels welcome

IRISH DANCING CLASSES

RATHANGAN NS

The Parents Association would like to welcome the junior infant children of 2012/2013 to the school as they begin their school year. We wish them all a happy and enjoyable year. You are invited to come along to a parent /guardian social evening on Wednesday 26th September at 8pm in the G.P. room in the school, as we hope to have a dietician present on the night to give a talk on diet and nutrition, free raffle and light refreshments will take place on the night. All parents/ guardians are encouraged to attend.

ST. ANNE'S GAA

The All Ireland hurling replay ticket draw is on tonight 25th. To enter your name for tickets please contact Gerry on 087 2240886 or any of the committee. Winners of the Football tickets were Noel O'Keeffe, Red Barry, Cian McGovern and Charlie White. The Jack Berry underage hurling blitz takes place in Rathangan on Sunday 30th September at 11am. All are welcome.

5 YEAR PLAN: The next meeting will be held on Friday night 12th October at 8pm. All members and prospective members are invited to this meeting as we try to shape the future of the club. Yearly subscriptions to the Development Fund are due over the next while. Club reps may be calling. Any support is greatly appreciated. Well done to our under 6 girls who played their first game for St. Annes on Tuesday evening in Kilmore. The team consisted of Faye Murphy, Aoife Brennan, Erin O'Brien, Isobel McLoughlin, Hannah O'Brien, Mary-Kate Cullen, Isabelle Barry, Kate Radford, Jessica Byrne, Sienna Moran, Anna Benson.

ST ANNE'S LADIES GAA

St. Anne's Ladies are involved in a fundraising clothing collection supporting Canteen Teenage Cancer Charity, so please have a look in your houses for the following unwanted items for donation:clothes, shoes, hats, belts, soft toys or curtains. No bedding or cushions please. Drop times, dates and places to follow. Your continued support is always appreciated.

FASTNET ROVERS FC

There will be training for U9 and U11 boys every Saturday in the top pitch at 9.30am. All are welcome to attend.

TABLE QUIZ

Duncormick Area Action group and tidy towns committee will hold a table quiz in John Sinnott Pub, Duncormick on Wednesday 3rd October at 9pm. table of four €20. All are welcome

TIDY TOWNS

Duncormick Area Action group and tidy towns committee would like to say a big thank you to the residents for all their help and support in keeping the village clean and tidy for the tidy towns competition. Last year was our first year in the competition and this year increased our points by 13 and received an endeavour award. We look forward to even better results next year.

KIDZ ACADEMY

DRESSMAKING CLASSES

Knitwits in Bridgetown are introducing Beginners Dressmaking classes in late October. They require 8 people to make up a class which will run for 7 weeks in the community hall in your area.
