Cross country training is now well under way as athletes prepare for their respective county races. Training takes place at 6pm on Monday and Wednesday in Kilrane school and at St. Helen's pier on Fridays. New members are always welcome. Athletes must be aged 9 years or older to take part in these events.

The first County cross country races will be held in Adamstown on Oct. 2nd. at 1:00. This will include races for novice athletes followed by the even age groups from under 10 - 18 at 2:00

St. Paul's are hosting the second day of County cross county in Kilrane on 16th October at 1pm, starting with Intermediate men and women followed by uneven age groups 11 - 19. St. Pauls are running Under 9 Races with medals for the first 10 home. On both days athletes will compete in a single race where they will run for individual placings aswell as the tallied team score.

Winter training for all athletes will start on 2nd October in Kilrane. We look forward to seeing returning athletes and new comers at cross country and winter training. YOGA CLASSES

Anne Marie Ferris will be commencing Yoga Classes in Kilrane Community Centre on Thursday 22nd September at 8pm. Come and learn Gentle Stretching, Breathing and Relaxation. The classes will run for 7 weeks and costs €70. All are welcome

Kids Klub is starting Tuesdays/Wednesdays and Thursdays in the Kilrane/Rosslare Harbour community centre 2-5. Homework help followed by a wide range of fun activities to suit all ages. Drop into Kickstart preschool for more details. TIDY TOWNS

The Adjudication Report from this year's competition is now available from the local Post Office. The villages of Rosslare Harbour and Kilrane were once again awarded very good marks and this is testimony to the merits of the three - year plan. The report is also available at GAA LOTTO
