Kilrane/Rosslare Harbour ICA held their October meeting on Wednesday 5th October. A vote of sympathy was passed to Carmel Lonergan an family on the sad loss of her niece Christine O'Reilly, also to the Butler family, Cawdor St., on the death of their mother Nancy who was a valued member during the formation of the guild. Nuala Wickham Pres, congratulated Mairead and committee of Community centre on the successful launch of their cookery book.

Wexford Co Council have organised a Silver Sneakers day at Community Centre Rosslare Strand on Thursday 27th Oct ober from 10.30am -3.30pm. Activities included are Bowling, Walking, Curling, Badminton Dance etc. Cost of €5 includes light lunch. Contact Aideen Quigley if interested. It should be great fun.

Kilrane/Rosslare Harbour ICA Guild are having a Coffee morning an Cake sale in Culletons Kilrane on Friday 4th November at 10.30am. All proceeds will go to the Hope Cancer Support Centre, Enniscorthy. There will be candles for sale also. Please support this very worthy cause. LADIES SOCCER

On Sunday 9th October the ladies faced local competition as they traveled the short distance to play the All Blacks. A tough game was played out in very windy conditions but Rangers came away 3-2 winners. Rangers went ahead through a Shannon O'Brien goal & then Bobbie Doyle made it two for the visitors. Rangers were slow to start in the second half & quickly conceded two goals. Sinead Walsh was introduced as a sub for Rangers & sealed the victory with a third goal. UNDERAGE SOCCER

A dissapointing weekend for our players involve in matches this weekend. Our u9 boys team were beaten at home by Wexford Celtic, our goal coming from Tadge Brohan, Alex Loonex the pick of the bunch for the home team.

The U11's travelled to Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny in the second round of the U11 National Cup and were met with a very strong home side Unfortunately despite a great performance from the whole team, we suffered a 1.0 defeat. A big thank you to all the parents and other supporters who travelled on the day.

Our u16 girls were beaten away to a strong Taghmon team. Goalscorer on the day was Ellen O'Connor , Holly Williams, Derbhla Moore and Amber Corish all put in fine performances.

Our u16 boys were also beaten away to Gorey Celtic, Cian Boggan receiving man of the match. SCOUTS DISCO

6th Wexford Tuskar Scout group are holding a kids fancy dress Halloween Disco on Tuesday 25th October from 6pm - 8pm in the Kilrane Community Centre. All Children are welcome to attend. €3 per child / €5 per family. DANCE CLASSES

Modern Jive classes for absolute beginners, Mondays 8.30pm in Kilrane Community centre. Ladies and Gents Welcome. You don't need a dance partner to join classes. €8 per class. YOGA CLASSES

Anne Marie Ferris hascommenced Yoga Classes in Kilrane Community Centre on Thursdays. Beginners classes are from 7.30pm to 8.30pm and Improvers classes are 8.30 to 9.30pm. The classes will run for 7 weeks and costs €70.00. Learn gentle stretching, breathing and relaxation.
