ROSSLARE HARBOUR

BALLOON RELEASE

The "My Wish Balloon" Balloon Release will take place on Sunday 20th May at Bart's Cancer Charity Shop, St. Patricks Road, Rosslare Harbour at 2pm. There will be a Family Fun Day, proceeds from the Balloon release going to Wexford Hospice Home Care. Balloons are €3, on sale in the shop or contact Kathleen at 0863660585. ST PAUL'S AC

St. Paul's AC will be hosting the County Senior Road Race on 27th April. The Loreto Track and Field competition will also kick off the schools track and field season on 27th April.

At the recent Easter Road races there were some great runs from underage races up to Seniors including another victory from Andrew Connick in the Senior Men's chased home by Ger Moloney. The Women's race was won by Trudi Murphy.

High and long jump training is now taking place on Saturdays from 10-11 in Kilrane. Training also continues during the week at 6pm on Mondays (Kilrane), Wednesdays (Rosslare) and Fridays (6th class athletes upwards, Rosslare); for information on throws training contact Eamonn.

Please Note:ageing With Confidence next session will be held at the Harbour View Hotel on Monday 23rd April from 2 to 4.30 pm. The facilitators for the training will be Ann Dunne and Kay O'riordan.

Don't Forget the Bealtaine The May Festival on the 18th and 19th May. Arts and Crafts Exhibition in the Harbour View Hotel. Articles will be on sale. Opening at 2 pm. on Friday 18th followed by a Cheese and Wine Reception at 7 pm.

Membership Fees of €16 are now overdue and new members are always welcome to join and to participate in the many activities we provide each month.

ST MARY'S CAMOGIE

Well done to all the u10's who participated in their first cluster blitz on Wednesday last (18th April), great fun was had by all with lots of goals scored by all teams. A big thank you to all the girls from Kilmore and St Annes, Rathangan also for joining in the fun. Next Blitz 28th April - so keep practising girls.

Well done to the U12 team who have been selected to "Caman to Croker" on Saturday 5th May to represent the club, where a fun filled day will be ahead of them. Well done to all who took part in the U12 first cluster blitz last Saturday.

The U14 Team played their first championship match on Tuesday 17th April at the home pitch against St James Ramsgrange, the girls played a great match, final score: St Marys 2-0 v St James 2-1.

Junior Team were away to Clongeen last Sunday 15th April. Despite a much improved performance we lost to the home team. Scorers for St Marys were Emma Sinnott, Danielle Finney and Aine O'connell. Well done girls, keep up the good work.

Next Junior match is Wednesday 25th April at 7pm at home. So if you're out and about please come and support.

Membership - a reminder to those with membership outstanding, please do so immediately as we operated a "no pay, no play" rule within the club.
