SCHOOL HALOWEEN WALK
We are holding our annual Halloween Walk on Wednesday October 26 where all our pupils and teachers will dress up in all their spooky glory and walk around the village at 1 p.m. We would encourage all locals to come out and support them on this fun day. We would also encourage parents to join in on the fun and come along in dress up too! We hope all the children have a great mid-term break.
The Tagh/Cam squad participated in the All Ireland Blitz on Saturday October 15 last and ended on equal par with teams from Dublin, Kildare and two Tipperary teams. The panel of Suzanne Cardiff, Colette Curtin, Joanne Dee, Sarah Doran, Tashy Hogarth, Clodagh McGrath, Deirdre O'Hanlon, Lesley Ormonde, Mary and Leanne Waters with managers Edwina and Laura Colfer represented our club in great style and congrats to all. All retired to Alice Bradys for well earned sustenance after the long journey and thanks to Dolores and The Chipper for looking after food.
Remember the Tagh/Cam ladies football club will hold a Poker Classic on Friday November 4 at 8.30 p.m. in the GAA Complex. Tickets €20 and can also be bought on the door. Final buy back after the break. Refreshments included in price.
The group has performed its three One Act plays in Tagh/Cam GAA complex and Stanville Lodge Hotel last weekend and will perform in St. Michaels Theatre, New Ross on this Friday October 28 at 8 p.m. and Carrig Community centre on Wednesday November 2 where just two of the plays will be staged. The festival play' Semper Fidelis' will compete in Kilmallock on Saturday October 29 and we wish the group every success. More drama news next week.
Quiz enthusiasts are busy getting their teams in order for Camross Hall Table Quiz which will be held in Tagh/Cam GAA complex on Thursday November 3 at 8.30pm. Quiz master, Liam Morrissey has a 'mixed bag' of questions lined up.

The Chairperson thank all for coming, but unfortunately there was not a big attendance. Last year we had great success in Community Games, winning many All-ireland Gold medals.
She thanked all involved in Community games for the help and support, the Taghmon/camross GAA Club for the use of the Community Centre, the Wexford People, Wexford Echo and Tag Office for their coverage of events and extended sympathy to anyone involved who has had a breavement in the past year.
As always we are looking for co-ordinators for the coming year so if anyone can offer any help please contact a committee member. After the meeting a presentation was made to St Fintan's and St Garvan's National schools and the Taghmon Community Childcare Centre of set of skittles as a thank you for the help and support during the year. Taghmon-Camross Community Games would also like to thank Sports Active Wexford for their support and assistance with the skittles project.

GROW Support Group: This group is meeting on Thursday mornings from 10:30am to 12:30 pm and are facilitated by Maurene from GROW. This group came about as a result of a very successful Positive Mental Health course run in the Centre in may. Contact Mary in the centre 053-9134465 for further information.
Feel Good For Christmas: Calling all Women who want to look and feel great for Christmas. A four week programme focusing on positive self esteem will start on Wednesday 16th November until 7th December at a cost of ?5 per week. Contact the centre on 053-9134465 for further information.
Catch22: The programme is aimed at young adult men aged 18-24 and is designed to create awareness among these young men about the options available to them regarding educational and employment opportunities. Some of the topics covered will include Entrepreneurship, Fitness and positive energy, Budgeting/entitlements and Basic Computer Skills. Ballroom Dancing: Adult Ballroom classes are taking place on Monday evenings from 7:30pm - 8:30pm, covering dances such as Jive, Waltz and Tango.
Men's Breakfast: Continues on Friday mornings from 10:00 am to 12:00pm. All new members welcome.
Date for your diary: Friday 28th October, Halloween Disco in the Oak Tree Foulksmills. Plans are well underway for this event. Tickets are available from Magees quick pick, the Day Centre and Committee members.
Chair exercises: All members enjoyed chair exercises this week facilitated by Valerie Howard. Thank you to all at Meitheal Munna for the use of their facility and refreshments. Valerie will be back with us in December.
Art Classes: Art classes will continue on Wednesday afternoons facilitated by Bernadette and Ray from the FRC. We thank all at the FRC for providing the material and tutor.
Home Security: This week we all enjoyed a very informative talk given by Sgt Pat Carley of Wexford Garda Station on Home Security. We wish to express our thanks to Sgt Carley for taking the time to join us.
Bingo: This weeks bingo winners were: Nellie, Mary Ann, Margaret, Nicky, May, Bessie and Veronica.
Caroreigh Parents Council held their A.G.M. on October 18. The Parents Council Officers are Chairperson-Anita Cullen, Secretary-Kay Doyle, Treasurer-Carmel Banville, Assistant Treasurer-Sasha Roche Kelly, PRO - Grace Monaghan. National Parents Council Representatives are Mary Power and Kathleen Banville. Committee members are Michael Barron, Christina Kelly, Carmel Kelly, Mary Mernagh, Martina Sinnott, Elaine Doyle and Linda Cadogan. Green Flag Committee new members are Sarah Doran and Elaine Doyle. Welcome to all new members and a special thanks to the outgoing committee members Carol Clarke and Pamela Doyle.
A coffee morning will be held in Alice Bradys on Thursday 24th November to raise funds for this year's senior citizens party. All donations would be greatly appreciated. The senior citizens party will take place in The Oak Tree on 6th January.
TAGHMON GOLF SOCIETY
Following a very successful outing to Kilkenny Golf Club last Saturday, we had 43 players. We would like to thank the Maldron gym who sponsored the outing. some great scores were returned on the day.

Well done to the U-16 girls team who had a great 7-1 win over Rosslare Ranger at home last Saturday, Sarah Banvile , Amy Dee,Ailish Sinnott all got 2 each and Jessie Doyle also got o the score board with a goal.
The U-12s had a tough game at home last week losing 5-1 to a very strong Gorey Celtic team, Emma Clarke got the only goal for the home team also playing were Gemma Dooley, Emma Kelly, Katie Murphy, Michell Carty, Caithlin Nash, Kathlyn Maher,Mairead Niolan, Keila Redmond and Molly Redican.
