The Parent & Toddler Group commenced again on Tuesday the 14th September in the Community Centre from 10am to 12pm, new parents and toddlers are always welcome.

On Sunday morning last the Beginners, Under 8, Under 10 and Under 12 Camogie Teams lined out for their inhouse end of season blitz. On a morning of good weather and great atmosphere the girls donned the blue and yellow of St. Marys Rosslare and entertained their fans.

Later in the morning the managers and committee members played a fun challenge match with the Under 12's. Some "old" recruits were present and performed beyond all expectation on the day whilst entertaining the crowd. Tea and Coffee were served on the sideline for all spectators and later the girls were joined by former club members and All Ireland Medalists Katrina Parrock and Linda & Lisa Bolger who took time to speak to all players and sign autographs.

It was then time to head upstairs in the complex for some more refreshements and a much earned sandwich! The girls were presented with certificates and had photos taken with the All Ireland Visitors. A few words from the Chairperson Catherine Sinnott followed she welcomed all to the complex and thanked all in the club for their hard work and committment and hoped it would continue into the coming season both on and off the field.

With the sandwiches eaten and the tea drank it was time to tidy up and head home for the end of another season!

The Club would like to thank the following for making the day a success: St. Marys Gaa for the use of the premises, Wayne O'Leary & St. Fintans GAA for the loan of a set of jerseys, Katrina Parrock, Linda & Lisa Bolger, all the parents who turned out to support, All the people who baked for the morning, Helen Duggan and Hazel Whitehead for helping with the teas/coffees and to all the players who have been fantastic throughout the year. Intermediate Football: Our Intermediate Footballers have reached the Co. Final for the second year running after a hard fought and determined display against St James in Wexford Park. Playing with the aid of the wind we led by 8pts to 1pt at half time. The second half was all about skill, determination and work rate as we faced into the elements.

Every player to a man stood up and was counted and while the ball didn't run for some - no one gave less than 110%. We tagged on 1-02 in the second half which saw us over the line, winning by 1-10 to 012. We now need to get our colours out and get behind the lads as we are only sixty minutes away from returning to where we feel we belong - Senior Football !! The final is set for October 2nd - a date for the diary. We would like to wish all the team the best of luck in the final

Guess the Score: We had no correct guess of the score on the Tipperary v's Kilkenny All Ireland Hurling Final. However we did have 2 guesses which were only 2 points out. Both will receive ?50. Well done to Anthony Sullivan c/o Tony Kehoe and Seamus Tompkins c/o Jamie Tompkins.

Memory Lane: We are calling on all past members, officers, players and supports to roll back the years and re-call all those fond memories, facts, stats, victories and photos. Our club is 125 years old next year and as part of what we hope will be a year of celebration we are looking to gather as much information as possible on the club from it's foundation in 1886 to the current day.

If you have any information regardless of it's significance we would like to know about this. We are asking all to trawl through the archives and take a trip down memory lane! Should you have any information can you please contact Tommy 086-3350578, James 087-9730662, Tony 087-2893202, or any club member.
