It's a busy time for the Loch Garman Band as both its youth and adult members have plenty of playing time on the horizon.

The senior band, led by musical director John Clancy, will perform at a remembrance Mass for deceased members in Rowe Street Church on Sunday, October 28, at noon. The programme will feature the music of Jessie Seymour Irvine, Handel, Karl Jenkins, and Elgar, and solos from Anthony Nolan (cornet) and Seán Clancy (euphonium).

In recent weeks, the Youth Band was in action at the annual Harvest Thanksgiving Festival in St Iberius Church.

The senior band is also currently preparing to lead the music for the Annual Civic Ecumenical Remembrance Day Service on November 11 in St Iberius church, with guest preacher Bishop Denis Brennan.

The band is always open to new members. Contact the group on: www.lochgarmanband.com or 087 1636 860.
