Voice of Wexford

A new advocacy group known as ' The Voice' are calling for other concerned members of the community in Wexford to join them in speaking out against government cuts.

The group, which is based in Wexford town, was set up with the purpose of speaking out against cuts to vital services which are often needed by some of the most vulnerable in society. The group's ultimate goal is to ensure that access to these services, such as home supports, carers allowance, and respite care for families in need, is maintained and they are also calling on families who have been effected by recent cuts to come forward and share their story. The Voice meets on Monday nights at 8 p.m. in the Whites Hotel Lobby. For more information, the group's chairman, Victor, can be contacted at 0863043106.
