The office skills group at VTOS Wexford showed they can work wonderfully as part of a team as they hosted a coffee morning in aid of Wexford Able Disabled Club.

The group were tasked with coming up with a group activity to demonstrate their ability to work as part of a team for one of their modules, and they showed they were well capable with the fundraiser.

It was all hands on deck in advance of the morning, with every member of the group working hard to make sandwiches, bring in cakes and treats and make tea and coffee, and it proved to be worth it as they enjoyed a wonderful morning for a great cause at their Westgate headquarters.

'We had a great crowd in,' said John Leacy, one of those behind the morning. 'In the end we raised €366 for Wexford Able Disabled Club and they were delighted. It was a real team effort and everyone had their job to do.'

John pointed out how reliant the club are on donations and fundraising before thanking everyone who came along on the morning and contributed.

The food left over from the morning didn't go to waste either, the group being thoughtful enough to divide it among three local homeless shelters.
