After a long wait McCauley's Pharmacy have announced that their beauty salon is to re-open this week, having been forced to close its doors following a fire that raged through the wall cavities of the building back in August.

While scaffolding still remains and work is still ongoing to the rear of the Redmond Square building, they've announced the official re-opening of the Beauty by McCauley Salon is to take place tomorrow (Wednesday) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and all kinds of special offers and treatments are planned with beauty industry expert Laura Bermingham in attendance. People are asked to reserve their spaces by emailing smccsalonwexford@smcc.ie or by calling 053 9122422.

The fire is said to have carried a significant cost for McCauley's with extensive damage caused underneath the granite cladding to the rear of the building. While the work is ongoing, the pharmacy is also feeling the loss of a number of parking spaces, which has had an impact on footfall and management will be keen to put right before the peak Christmas period.
